Barry the windiest place on earth !?!

Our mission, that we insanely accepted, was to make it down to Barry Island before:

a) Something froze - be it hand, foot, nose etc.....
b) Hypothermia set in !!

If you actually made it to Barry Island then going up onto the point would kill you !!

Fortunatly we made it back alive and had some interesting conversations along the way!

The Point - it's rather chilly on the end!!

There we two major thoughts we have had today:

1) What would it be like to live in Focus?

We went into Focus because frankly it was freeeeezing !! and we couldn't take any more. We looked around and decided that we would sit on some settees that had been placed in a mock-up living room.

Our new home!

We just sat around and started talking about living in the store. We ultimatly decided that if the stove worked, the cupboards were full of food and the shop assistants were so unobservant that they didn't kick us out, we could live quite happily in Focus !!

And then later on our second thought....

2) Is Barry the new twilight zone ?

We were walking along and the wind was picking up so obviously things started to become a little bit dilusional and Emily, after planning our friends rocky murder and our own hypothermia induced deaths, decided that we would never catch up with the group, who were over the other side of the bay.

Barry - strangly normal or normally strange ?!?

We walked along to catch up with them and suddenly we stopped and Tom said:

"I know what's going on here..... if we head towards them, by the time we reach them they will be over here and we over there."

Then after considering that replied:

"Yes... but then if that happens we would be in a continuous loop and we would never catch up"

And after pondering both thoughts Emily blurted out:

"Well if that's going to happen then I'm not sure I want to live in a life that keeps repeating itself"

Then I thought logically and said:

"Repeating itself"

"Repeating itself? she replied

"Repeating itself again and repeating itself again" I replied not fully aware of what I had just said.

Emily then came to her conclusion that life was no longer worth living and put her finger to her head and then another thought struck her:

"If we're in the twighlight zone then won't the bullet go sideways or something ? Well then I'll throw myself off a cliff instead !"

But I replied " Well if we are in the twighlight zone then you'll fall onto the top of the cliff or even worse .... you won't stop falling !!!"

After all that we did finally rejoin the group, who reluctantly gave in to hypothermia and then huddled in an arcade for about 20 minutes while everyone regained the feeling in their hands before a long treck back to the Square.
