What if.....?

After the dreary weather we had yesterday a little bit of blue sky was a great relief and prompted me and my parents to head out to Symonds Yat. A journey of just over an hour brought us to the wonders of Symonds Yat, the Wye Valley and Yat Rock.

This place will always be special to me. As you go along the high up motorway a sign greets you saying:

Welcome to England/Croeso i Loegr
Welcome to Herefordshire

This area always makes me think of what might have become of me if I hadn't moved to Wales.

I was born and lived the first few months of my life in the cosy houses of Beech Street in the middle of the small town of Great Harwood, near Blackburn, Lancashire. The landscape at Symonds Yat just reminds me so much of that near Harwood. It wasn't long before we came to Barry but it just makes me ponder "what if...?"

Well let us think what if...?

Well for a start I would probably have one of those wonderful northern accents.

I wouldn't have met my friends - some days that could be a good or a bad thing.

I might have become a chav - although probably not as the next big town - Blackburn is famous for its emos.

The I might have become a fully fleged emo !! - again the good point - I'd be thin!!!!
- the bad point - I would probably be a self harmer

Oh how different my life could have been !!

Now that's just scary !
