This is what Saturday night was all about: alcohol. I have never seen so much of it and to be honest it scared me.
Saturday night was Blake's birthday party. So I was going and sleeping over. Innocently enough I thought it would be a nice night, you know typical dancing, having a natter that kind of stuff. However that was not to be.

I arrived and the house was as any other party. A couple of people there, I arrived early-ish, and some loud music - fair enough ! Then more people began to come and the dancing began with an couple of us having a chat. Still innocent enough. At this point I was quite enjoying myself, if it had carried on like that then it would have been fun.
However, two boys came in through the living room with big packs of WKD's in the arms. In fact one had so many that he dropped one or two on the floor, throwing glass across the kitchen floor in a house where wearing shoes inside is a punishable offence.

Ok, the appearance of alcohol initially didn't dismay me as the quantity they had brought meant that everyone might get one bottle each, plus they're mainly fruit juice anyway. Anyway they were distributed and everyone, including myself, had a drink.
Now things started to turn into a drunken stupor very quickly. His parents put out some nibbles and then they left the house to Blake. Bad move, from there a supply of beer and other alcoholic drinks appeared and soon there was more than enough beer to go around. Then when I saw one boy mixing drinks and heard another say that he had been on the Pernod before he had come... well...
It was frightening how quickly they got drunk. In fact it was so frightening I wanted to leave. When I go to a party, I want to have fun and to be fair alcohol is totally unnecessary. Fair enough have one or two but where's the good time in getting drunk?
Anyway, I got my things, rang for a lift and left. However before I did I notice Blake was sprawled out in the middle of the living room. Also as I walked out the door, I saw another boy shoot out the side door and throw up in the garden. I can't get this image out of my head. I feel sick just to think about it.
After these wonderful events plus threats that the police had been called, with the news that Leanne was going to throw herself in front of a car or something, I was so glad to see my mother's car come up the road. I ran and got in and for the first time since I got there I could relax.

i know you're being all sensible and that morally your views are completely correct, but it's just weird how against aclohol you are... It's just for a laugh, it makes things better and makes a night great fun. it's not the end of the world if you get a bit pissed or have a fag or two? And oh no that leads to drug addiction but that's a load of rubbish, spliff's don't even count anyway and their not addictive. I think you're way too over the top about this all, it's really boring and reallyy pathetic.
