The Ok Café: An Outing in Cardiff !!

Well what a day I have had !!

A day full of bitching, shopping and watching with Lyndsey in Cardiff!!

For a start it was warm !! I'm not used to the weather being nice I was half expecting it to rain. However it didn't and I was left lugging round a heavy coat all day !!

Bloody Coat !!

That was the only bad part. We've said some really strange but histerically funny things. For example:

A man walked past in a "lilac" hoddy and imediatly we turned to each other and said "Gay!" It was very funny !!!

Get a guy to wear that and tell me he's not gay !!

Then there was the band we saw randomly. They were playing right in the middle of Queen Street. In all fairness they were quite good and we must have stopped two or three times to watch them. Then there was the "are we to chicken to go and pick up a flyer" conversation but eventually we concered our fears an obtained the flyer.

After that we then continued to accuire our food from Boots as a protest !! - our conversation about how McDonalds are single handedly destroying the world and causing Global Warming!

McDonalds will single handedly destroy the Western World !!

Then to make our way out to Albany Road - one of the rougher areas of Cardiff !! - we had to cross a main road via traffic lights. Now as we waited the bus we were after came up and parked at the stop across the road. Lyndsey began to look anxious and started screaming "Change faster !!" Sadly it didn't work and we watched helplessly as the bus drove away without us in it!! From this we are now beginning the "Ban Traffic Lights" Campaign - so they may have saved a few lives but millions have missed their busses because of them !!

Damn them !!

Then after acquiring so "slutty" clothes from Primark !! Yes, believe it or not I have bought clothes from Primark. We went back to watch the band again, who were in fact called The LowLights - www.thelowlights.co.uk . Soon they were finished and Lynds, being Lynds, wanted a photograph with the band, so we sat down near them and watched as two girls came over and began to talk to them. Soon after Lynds started fantasising about knocking these two girls out and going up and having her photo with the band. Eventually she did have her photo with the band greeting them with a high pitched "HI!!" The band looked very freaked out that she wanted a photo but shes got one !!
